AoE School of Media & Entertainment (SoME) aims to offer a bouquet of courses that help people to build a career .Media and communication studies are typically taught through a combination of lectures, seminars, screenings, various practical activities and assessments, and one-to- one supervision, all of which aim at providing students with a broad understanding of today’s media world. This course prepares students for careers in the entertainment sector that comprises of: film, TV, digital media, music, & theme parks / live entertainment etc.Student enrolled in the media and communication course will be provided with essential skills in oral and written communications as well as critical thinking. Media communication is especially important in a society where both information and communication are integral commodities in the democratic process. Students will be prepared for an employment climate and how to adapt to its change in a successful manner. The Academy imparts a finishing touch to the raw talent coming to them and transforms it into a sparkling diamond.

Courses

The students enrolling for acting classes are given specialized training in acting. A variety of classes is planned that helps in broadening their knowledge of acting style and techniques. The well-qualified and experienced instructors work on strengthening the foundation of acting and make use of tried and tested techniques that find their roots in the theater but today can also be applied to screen acting.

  • Core classes are conducted by the Institute that helps the students to look within and find the actor and bring it to the fore.
  • A lot of physical, emotional and technical training, essential to acting is also imparted.
  • Gradually, as the course advances the students are trained to apply the techniques that they have learned so far.
  • They are also expected to do a lot of on-camera exercises and extensive scene work.
  • The students are also coached in technical nuances so that they understand how an eclectic blend of technique and expertise can bring a lot of shine in their work.
  • Workshops and sessions are organized to expose the students to the world of acting.
